What is life beyond the "noosphere"?
In 1922, visionary Jesuit priest, Teilhard de Chardin named the noosphere (Greek for “sphere” of/layer of mind). The noosphere is the earth's third evolutionary phase of development after the geosphere (inanimate matter) and the biosphere (biological life).
Teilhard perceived a directionality in evolution along an axis of increasing complexity and consciousness. For Teilhard, the noosphere is the sphere of thought encircling the earth that has emerged through human consciousness.
Like each phase of evolution, the noosphere is nothing short of miraculous. The biosphere is the entire natural world. The noosphere is everything created by human beings; language, art, literature, music, social and legal systems, all forms of architecture, government, science, technologies of all kinds, religions, transportation, agriculture, and the explosion of the internet and social media. In this sense, the noosphere emerges through, and is constituted by, the interaction of human minds.
We are now on the cusp of the next evolutionary leap, emergence that transcends the noosphere.
The Evolutionary Collective is dedicated to gather those who are coded for what is next. In the last eleven years we have discovered together what allows us to enter into this new world together and give it life. We are like archeologists – digging and discovering what it takes to build the nervous system for a higher order of human relating.
