OUR BEGINNINGS
Over 40 years ago, Patricia Albere experienced a sustained awakening that resulted in a different kind of realization, a unitive realization that happened with another. From that initiation came a knowing that there was a new potential for humanity. Through an unrelenting, mostly choiceless summoning from that consciousness itself, she began to work with and teach people how to reliably enter into a particular type of unity – shared unity. It was with this unwavering vision sourced by the future and evolutionary love that Patricia founded the Evolutionary Collective (EC) in 2007 and brought forth the transmission, practices, and perspectives that enable others to awaken to and access this evolutionary reality.
After Patricia wrote her book Evolutionary Relationships: Unleashing the Power of Mutual Awakening, where she outlines the Mutual Awakening Practice that gives us access to this dimension of shared unity, it became clear that it was important to establish a platform where people could practice Mutual Awakening and enter into shared unity together. EC Global was established through technologies just becoming available to bring people from around the world to practice and enter into shared unity together simultaneously.
Since EC Global began in 2018, people have participated seven days a week to cross the threshold of separation into the domain of Mutual Awakening and egoless shared unity. Every day, members of the EC engage with the living reality of this paradigm of shared unity, and the effects are palpable.

Evolutionary Collective Founder
Patricia Albere is at ground zero of an evolutionary stream of spiritual awakening. Patricia Albere experienced a sustained awakening that resulted in a different kind of realization, a dual realization that happened with another. That shared awakening points to a new dimension of consciousness and an extraordinary possibility for humanity’s future.
She is the founder of the Evolutionary Collective, an internationally known contemporary spiritual teacher and bestselling author of Evolutionary Relationships: Unleashing the Transformative Power of Mutual Awakening. She is a recognized leader and innovator in the emerging field of inter-subjective awakening and post-personal development.
SHERRY PAE
Sherry Pae has been immersed in the fields of health care, holistic healing, personal transformation, and spiritual evolution since 1972. She spent 21 years as a Critical Care nurse, later studying Energy Medicine and Healing, and serving on faculty and administration at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. Through her many roles, she has facilitated thousands of people in the process of awakening and healing. She has taught, guided individuals, and led groups throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and the Middle East, and has now committed herself to the emergent edge of a new reality, one that is orchestrated through the many as the one.
CAROLYNE MATHLIN
Evolutionary Collective Executive Director | Mutual Awakening Teacher
Carolyne Mathlin helps translate evolutionary insight into lived practice, durable structures, and coherent community life. Her work focuses on stewarding the conditions that allow shared unity to be experienced, practiced, and sustained over time—through program design, leadership, and collective orientation. With over twenty-five years of experience in spiritual leadership and community development—including ordained ministry and organizational governance within Unity and over a decade with the Evolutionary Collective—she brings a grounded capacity to integrate depth, clarity, and practical implementation. Her contribution lies in helping this work take form in ways that are accessible and able to support real participation in what is newly emerging.
